DoubleIf you are looking for a traditional cottage, look no further than Blakes Barn. Mattingly Farm is made up of three barns in total, Blakes Barn, Dairy Cottage (3912), and Orchard Cottage (3936) set in a rustic and traditional setting.
When you step inside, you will find character in each room from the high vaulted ceilings with exposed beams and feature walls, to the period features throughout.
Set in the picture-perfect village of Wellow, west Wight, with beautiful coastal and rural scenery, this is a lovely location for country walks in the Island's Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Go fossil hunting at nearby Compton Beach, meet the alpacas at West Wight Alpacas or visit Yarmouth for a selection of lovely restaurants for dinner.
The nearest town is the historic Yarmouth with its castle, small selection of independent shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs a short distance away by car, bus or bicycle. However if you'd rather relax, Compton Beach is recognised as one of the world's best beaches.
