Formerly an artist's studio, this fabulous retreat floods with light from floor to ceiling windows and is the perfect escape for a small family or couple looking for a relaxing getaway where even your four-legged friend is welcome.
Contemporary living at its best, the ground floor offers a modern living space with wooden floors, bespoke kitchen and stylish furnishings. Double height ceilings and exposed beams add to the character of The Studio and stylish lighting completes the interiors. The double bedroom is on the ground floor, with a cosy king-size bed and doors leading out on to the terrace and the wet-room with walk-in shower is also on this floor. Climb the stairs and a gorgeous mezzanine awaits, with a cosy snug on one level, perfect for a quiet holiday read, and a four-foot bed and balcony at the other.
Outside the panoramic views across surrounding countryside are beautiful and a gorgeous terrace invites you to dine al fresco in the summer sun. The owners are conveniently nearby and on hand to answer any questions, but your privacy is assured in this wonderful holiday bolthole.
You will be spoilt for choice when it comes to places to discover on your holiday in the far west of Cornwall. Newlyn is a vibrant fishing town, blessed with a great selection of galleries, eclectic shops and places to eat. Adjoining Newlyn, Penzance is a larger town with a long promenade where you can wander to your hearts content, or perhaps take a dip in Jubilee Pool, a gorgeous Art Deco lido with geothermally heated water. Iconic St Michael's Mount stands proudly out in the bay and is well worth a visit either on foot via the walkway or by passenger ferry when the tide is high.
The gorgeous village of Mousehole is a short drive away and of course not forgetting St Ives where you can catch the train along the coast and spend the day enjoying the effervescent light and golden sandy beaches. Water sports enthusiasts can choose from kite surfing along the vast open waters off Gwithian beach or perhaps surf on the Atlantic rollers of St Ives. Families will enjoy the many pristine beaches and coves of Sennen and Perranuthnoe, perfect for sandcastle constructing and rock pooling. However you spend your holiday, The Studio is a holiday home you will look forward to returning to year after year.
