If you were looking for cottages like Huxham Hideaway, how about trying these:

Who would expect to find the contradiction of an industrial container in a secret woodland setting deep in the Devon countryside? And who would expect it to be a luxurious and completely private escape - George Clark's 'Amazing Spaces' meets Kevin McCloud's 'Grand Designs'? Huxham Hideaway is unique, quirky and utterly original, sat in a stunning private woodland setting with a huge 10 acre meadow rolling downhill in front of it (perfect for four-legged friends to race around in!) and unspoilt countryside views beyond.

This bespoke glamping base has a warm wood-clad interior with a sitting-area at the centre of it, complete with comfy sofa, toasty wood-burner (psst, there's central heating too!), TV (with Amazon Prime Fire Stick, for those cosy evenings in) and a handy shelving unit, sat between two large windows, housing a variety of books, games, a wireless Bluetooth speaker and the WiFi router. The gorgeous modern kitchen is perfectly equipped for your holiday needs - including an oven, hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and even a Nespresso coffee machine! The breakfast bar with its bespoke stools (made with 150 year old antique pine, no less!) makes dining-in easy and enjoyable.

When it's time to turn in, the pocket-sprung memory foam king-size bed awaits, tucked away on a raised platform at one end of the container, with views out towards the hills and the horizon in the distance - the perfect vista to go to sleep and wake up to.

Of course, it wouldn't be luxury glamping without en suite facilities and, golly, Huxham Hideaway does not disappoint. The sparkling, contemporary shower-room quite literally sparkles - there are one penny pieces mounted into the floor, which the light bounces off of to create a stunning effect! This stylish room houses a proper flushing loo, top-of-the-range power shower, wash-basin and a heated towel rail too.
