The Woodland Homes
With the first phase of building now complete, the 22 detached, architect-designed holiday homes are settling into the woodland landscape. Wildlife is plentiful, with an abundance of birds, bats, deer and badgers all finding sanctuary amongst the park and woodland. Each home has a slightly different outlook over the parkland but all are built, furnished and equipped to the very highest contemporary standards.
Offering accommodation for four or six people, each property is reversed with the ground floor having an en suite master bedroom and a spacious family bathroom serving a ‘zip and link’ (double or twin) room in the 2 bedroom homes with an additional double bedroom in the 3 bedroom homes. The high apex ceilings and full-height windows of the open plan living accommodation on the floor above ensure a light-filled ambience, with a glass-walled balcony designed to optimise the views and catch the sun. The quality of these properties is second-to-none, with the finest appliances, granite work surfaces, wireless and hard-wired broadband, large widescreen televisions with Sky packages and beautifully co-ordinated furnishings. The fully equipped kitchens and spacious dining-areas allow you to prepare meals at your own relaxed pace, but you can also order gourmet meals prepared by the Head Chef at The Cornwall Hotel should you wish someone to cook for you.
