Located in the village of Chale, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, The Mission is a truly unique property well worth a visit. The current owners have lovingly restored this ‘tin tabernacle’ into a wonderful place to holiday on the Isle of Wight for the whole family. The external appearance of the property has remained the same and an internal mezzanine floor has been build to incorporate two double bedrooms, one overlooking the living space and the other the kitchen dining area. There are a further two bedrooms on the ground floor, another double and a bunkbed room. A large wood burner stands proudly in the living room, surrounded by authentic ‘retro’ furniture and decor you can truly appreciate the attention to detail that makes The Mission a destination you will never forget. The large main bathroom has been remodelled with a sunken bath in what was the baptismal font, a wonderful place to relax in luxury after your long coastal walk? The open plan kitchen dining room is a 1950’s model, wonderfully at home yet with all the mod cons of modern living including a dishwasher, so no need to spend your holiday washing up! After dinner why not embark on a game of table football, try and improve on your skills throughout your stay! Access to the garden is through the ‘Sunday School’ annexe, with a further shower room so no morning bathroom queues to be had. The outside area is a raised lawned area with decking and plenty of outdoor seating, guests can enjoy a barbeque in peaceful surroundings after a day out sampling the treats of the Island. The owners will welcome you with a freshly made cake and flowers, what more could you ask for? There is plenty of parking to the front of the property.
