Halyards
1374 is no longer with usIf you were looking for cottages like Halyards, how about trying these:
Mount Batten peninsula, close to where the River Plym leads into Plymouth Sound, was formerly owned by the military. Redeveloped in the late 1990s, it is now home to Clovelly Bay Marina (see photograph) and an elegant terrace of town houses, one of which is Halyards. With marina views from all three floors, the house also has an amazing view of Plymouth’s skyline, and even distant views upstream to Dartmoor. Access to Plymouth is via a water taxi, a short walk from the house, should guests wish to leave the car at home. This lovely house is beautifully decorated and furnished with a living-room, two bedrooms and a shower-room on the ground floor. There is a small balcony from the kitchen/diner, a third bedroom and the bathroom on the first floor, and a larger balcony from the sitting-room on the top floor. The Mount Batten Watersports Centre is within walking distance, and there are also one or two good pubs and restaurants nearby. This is an unusual and most attractive home, but due to the layout on three floors, it is not really suitable for young children or the elderly.
