Just on the outskirts of the ancient market town of Dorchester lies Poundbury, a remarkable town development, which comprises some fabulous and interesting buildings designed for the Prince of Wales using traditional architecture and modern planning. In the centre down a quiet lane is Frith House, a large terraced town house (with the blue front door in centre of photograph) set on three floors and within 300 yards of all amenities – including shops and a pub as well as a renowned delicatessen just across the green. The house itself is stylish and comfortable; on the first floor are two well presented bedrooms and the family bathroom. Up another flight of stairs to the second floor you will find the third bedroom, with an en suite shower-room. On the ground floor a sitting/dining-room has French windows leading out to the large and enclosed terrace, which has been planted with interesting shrubs and plants, and gives access to the garage and private parking. For guests seeking to explore Dorset’s World Heritage Site Jurassic Coast, Frith House is an ideal base as it offers easy access to Weymouth, Charmouth and Lyme Regis to name but a few.
