On the outskirts of the village of Shaugh Prior, and as the name suggests, this fully refurbished 1930s detached bungalow sits tucked under the south west end of Dartmoor, within the National Park. There are wonderful views from the sloping garden and just down the road is the well-known landmark of Dewerstone Rock, perched above where the Rivers Meavy and Plym meet. This is a lovely walk and there is also a designated cycle route along the River Plym down towards Plymouth. All on one floor, although four steps lead down to the shower-room and one of the double bedrooms, End-o-Moor is ideal for a family or group of friends wanting to get away from it all. The sitting/dining-room, with its deep rust sofas and pine dining-table, looks out over the garden and flat area of lawn with gravelled patio just outside – ideal for sipping a drink on a summer’s evening while the children let off steam.
