If you could still walk from Lampra Mill Cottage all the way along the banks of Poldhu stream, just over a mile westward you would find yourself on sandy Poldhu Cove. Only a short drive from the bustling village of Mullion with its shops, pubs and cafes, but tucked away in a peaceful wooded valley, this traditionally furnished detached cottage was once the mill to Bochym Manor. Approached by a private drive with the Owners’ home beyond, it lies opposite a large secluded lawned garden bordered by flowerbeds and a little leat (take care with children) and the games-room, where table-tennis and other games await. Indoors, the cream kitchen leads to the dining-area, where French doors open to outside. A step down takes you into the comfortable sitting-area with its cosy wood-burner, and upstairs are three pretty bedrooms. Beautiful woodland and countryside walks contrast with the spectacular scenery of the coastal footpath not far away, and with a golf course and several sandy coves within three miles, this charming retreat will delight everyone.
