The heated indoor swimming pool for use by guests in Waterwheel Barn and Orchard Meadow Barn.

This is a special part of Cornwall where life has barely changed for centuries. Down a narrow country lane, Penhole offers two roomy and very comfortable detached barn conversions. The Owners, who live next door and farm the surrounding land, have tried to think of everything – including a heated indoor swimming pool (please supervise children under 16 at all times) and a hard surface tennis court shared between the properties and occasionally used by the Owners. Both properties have games-rooms (the Owners use the games-room for Waterwheel Barn from time to time). An easy drive leads to both coasts, but guests may prefer to stay and enjoy these welcoming properties. The cottages have a private water supply which is tested regularly.

Orchard Meadow Barn is on the left and Waterwheel Barn on the right.The spacious sitting-room has the original granite slab floor as well as a welcoming wood-burner.The sitting-room has French doors out to the garden.
 
The tennis court is shared with Waterwheel Barn (1627) next door and occasionally used by the Owners.Looking across the gardens to the barns, Waterwheel Barn on the left, the pool room in the middle and Orchard Meadow Barn on the right.The master bedroom is reached by the staircase leading out of the sitting-room. The other bedrooms are accessed by the second staircase.
 
The flag-floored kitchen/diner has plenty of room for everyone to enjoy a meal around the table.The garden for Orchard Meadow Barn.There is a shared children's play-area between the two cottages. This equipment is only for children aged ten years or less.
 
The games-room.This double bedroom is on the same landing as the twin bedrooms, the second stairs lead only to the master bedroom.Looking down on the tennis court with Orchard Meadow Barn on the right, the pool-room in the middle and Waterwheel Barn behind. The shared tennis court is to the left.

Orchard Meadow Barn is next door to Waterwheel Barn and has its own patio and garden with a gate to the pool-room. Again, the Owners have used wooden flooring upstairs. As well as a spacious and well-equipped kitchen/diner with slate flagstones, there is a very comfortable sitting-room with original granite floor and a second staircase leads from here up to bedroom 4.

Sitting-room with digital TV, DVD player, CD player, wood-burner and staircase to Bedroom 4 with double bed (5') and en suite Shower-room with shower, WC and wash-basin.
