Love, love, love - Valentine's and a Cornish cottage holiday
A free holiday you say? Well lots of people said 'yes please', but there could only be one randomly picked winner.
We thought we’d follow up our Valentine’s Competition with the happy message we received from our winner. Lovely Louise spent three days and nights all the way down south of the Helford River on the Lizard peninsula. The cottage is called Nansbara which is a Cornish term meaning ‘valley of bread’ – utterly appropriate as the Owner is an artisan baker (Hope’s Bread) who always leaves a complimentary loaf and offers baking lessons.

Nansbara was the perfect choice for a cosy getaway over Valentine’s, with its secluded setting and roaring wood-burner to cosy up in front of after a stroll around the countryside. And Louise agreed:
‘I had a wonderful time! The roads were slippy with all the mud (!?) but the weather was kind and we managed to make the most of it – a bit of walking, a visit to Roskilly’s (cute pigs!), Coverack beach, lots of food (including all the homemade breads and cake!), chilling out in front of the fire…
Nansbara was superb! - the best self catering cottage I have ever stayed in. The property is designed so well and contains all you need for a very comfortable stay. The owners have thought of everything and the ‘homely’ touches make all the difference. I will definitely be going back!
Thank you once again. Winning the trip brightened up my Valentine’s no end! Thank you, thank you, thank you! :0)’
