Tucked off the road in a quiet backwater of Perranporth, Engellie is ideally situated for guests looking for a romantic bolthole on the north Cornish coast. This 200 year old semi-detached cottage is exceptionally charming and cosy. The sitting-room, which has limited dining space, has a wonderful wood-burner surrounded by sofas – so snug, you may have to be pushed out the door to experience the fantastic beach walks just down the road! There is a very well-equipped galley kitchen, and upstairs the master bedroom has a king-size bed (width restriction to one side) whilst the second bedroom has ‘zip and link’ beds. This cottage is perfectly located to forget the car for the duration of the holiday and enjoy the facilities of Perranporth (see photograph), the stunning coastal walks, and of course the sea! Within a short drive, guests can savour the restaurants of St Agnes, Newquay and Porthtowan.
