There are some lovely walks in the grounds down beside the river.There are comfortable leather sofas in the living-room.The internal stairs in the corner of the living-room lead down to the bedrooms on the ground floor.
 
The twin bedroom.The double bedroom.The approach to Chestnut Lodge as you come down the narrow lane to the cottages. You can just see Orchard Lodge to the right.
 
Down by the river is a lovely spot for an evening stroll.Looking back up from the grounds towards the cottages, Chestnut Lodge is on the right (with Orchard Lodge to the left and in front).The bunk bedroom.
 
There is a children's play area and a trampoline, shared with Orchard Lodge (1593). Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

All prices are £ per week per cottage. Where applicable the prices are inclusive of VAT.

The prices are specified for Saturday changeover dates.

For weekly holidays or short breaks beginning on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday the price for the following Saturday applies. For those beginning on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday the price for the previous week applies.

Where two price bands are specified in the description, the higher price band also always applies for Christmas and New Year even though this is not stated in the description.

Bed linen is included in the price. In addition, many cottages also include electricity and central heating within the price and this should be taken into consideration when comparing prices. There are no extra charges for cots or high chairs where they are listed in the property description on the Web site.
