The Lost Gardens of Heligan (1.2 miles)
Magical gardens, restored by Tim Smit, who later went on to create the Eden Project. There's also a well-stocked farm shop here where you can stock up on local produce.

Lobbs Farm Shop (1.2 miles)
The beef and lamb here is born and reared down the lane at the award-winning Kestle Farm, keeping food miles to an absolute minimum. In 2009 Lobbs bagged the Taste of the West Gold award for retail outlets in Cornwall. The Countryside Barn visitor centre here has interactive displays about the farm animals, crops and wildlife found on the farm. While you're here, pay a visit to the magical Lost Gardens of Heligan.

Cornish cheeses, local veg and meat, and cakes fresh from the kitchen.

Mobius Kitesurf School - Pentewan (2.3 miles)
Learn to kitesurf at Pentewan near St Austell on Cornwall's south coast. The experienced instructors at Mobius offer tuition at all levels for groups and individuals. Kitesurfing lessons are also available at Marazion near Penzance and Hayle near St Ives. Try kitebuggying and landboarding at Perranporth near Newquay on Cornwall's north coast where Mobius are based.

Fowey to Mevagissey Passenger Ferry (2.3 miles)
A great way to see the south coast – and perhaps basking sharks and dolphins too.
