Crantock (0.1 miles)

The village of Crantock is surrounded by miles of coastal paths and stunning beaches. With picturesque thatched cottages, an art gallery, an antique shop and tea rooms the village itself is delightful. The River Gannel flows out at Crantock Beach from a mile-long estuary. An important site for native and migrating birds the area is a haven for wildlife.

Crantock Beach (0.6 miles)

The next beach along (south west) from Fistral Beach with lots of soft sand and a tidal estuary to the River Gannel. When the conditions are right it is an excellent spot for longboarding.

Bodhi's Beach Cafe and Bistro (0.9 miles)

Located at the quieter south end of Fistral with first-class views of all the action on Newquay's famous surfing beach. Formerly The Windswept Cafe, it opened as Bodhi's in summer 2010. Great for a warming hot chocolate after a dip in the waves or dinner on the deck watching the sun set into the sea.
