The Silver House is a large terraced house set on the main street overlooking St Michael’s Mount and the bay at Marazion. Across the street, behind a high wall, lies its own secret garden; here steps lead down to an area planted with interesting flowers and shrubs and a pleasant terrace which has views to ‘the Mount’ (see photograph), perfect for a barbecue and al fresco dining. The interior of the house is spacious, with high ceilings. Full-size bay windows allow the light to flood in and offer glorious views across Mount’s Bay both upstairs and downstairs. The sitting/dining-room has modern furnishings and sea-grass flooring, and the compact kitchen gives access to a small courtyard and utility/boot-room. From the hallway, steep stairs lead up to the two bedrooms and bathroom. The double bed in the large master bedroom is positioned so that you can enjoy the sea views from the moment you awake, ready to enjoy the fresh Cornish sea air.
