Spinnakers is a very special house which will linger long in the memory. On the coast road to Torbay above the waterside village of Shaldon, it is one of a small group of detached houses set back from the road with their own access lane, the private parking is on this lane. Perched above a terraced garden with a drive running up one side (you can stop here to unload your car), there are fabulous views of the estuary and sea from the sitting-room and unusual first floor sun-room, which has floor to ceiling windows and runs along the front of the house. A modern kitchen and dining-room, as well as very pretty bedrooms on the first and second floors, mean there is plenty of room for everyone. And there is more...!; a hot tub on the rear terrace, a flat grassed area at the top of the terraced back garden and an outdoor log cabin fitted as a games-room with a pool table, table-football and a television and DVD player. The front deck (see photograph) is the place to sit at dusk as the twinkling lights of Shaldon and Teignmouth come alight along the banks of the estuary.
