The village of Georgeham is set on the B3231 between Saunton Sands and Woolacombe on Devon’s spectacular north coast, and is just a mile from Putsborough Beach – the Owner supplies a private parking pass – and Croyde, a renowned surfing location. This delightful village has a good pub, and a shop within walking distance. The detached house, believed to date from the mid-1500s, has been totally renovated and WiFi has been installed; there is a sunny kitchen/diner with an adjoining room used as a second living-room. The sitting-room is most attractive with a multi-burner tucked into the chimney-breast. Upstairs, the bedrooms are very pretty with built-in wardrobes giving plenty of storage. Orchard Dene fronts onto the road, but step outside the back door and there is a large, fully enclosed patio, a real sun-trap but the best is yet to come; steep steps (please take care) lead down to the garden beyond with an unheated swimming pool (please supervise children at all times). The pool is available from 12 May to 15 September, shared only with the Owner’s family next door. *A cot is not provided, please bring your own travel cot but space is limited.
