Description

The village of Georgeham is set on the B3231 between Saunton Sands and Woolacombe on Devon’s spectacular north coast, just a mile from Croyde. This delightful village has a good local pub, and a village shop within walking distance of Orchard Dene. The detached house, believed to date back to the mid-1500s, has been totally renovated; there is a sunny kitchen/diner with an adjoining room that can be used as a second living-room. The sitting-room is most attractive with a multi-burner tucked into the chimney-breast. Upstairs, the bedrooms are very pretty with built-in wardrobes giving plenty of storage space. The house fronts onto the road, but step outside the back door and there is a large, fully enclosed patio-area. This is a real sun-trap but the best is yet to come; steep steps (please take care with children) lead down to the garden beyond with an unheated swimming pool (please supervise children at all times). The pool is available from 15 May to 11 September for the use of guests, shared only with the Owners next door. *A cot is not provided, please bring your own travel cot but space is limited.
