Description

Found in lush farmland above Mount’s Bay, only a mile and a half from Marazion beach and equidistant from St Ives and Penzance, is Angwinack Cottage. Approached by an unmade lane, with only two or three neighbours, this charming cottage is ideal for a relaxing and enjoyable family holiday. The sitting/dining-room is separated by the stairs to the pretty bedrooms above. With the original beamed ceiling, deep window seats, comfortable furnishings in pastel shades and a mellow stripped-pine dresser with matching dining-table, this is a delightful room, the fireplace with wood-burning stove making it welcoming for winter retreats. A step leads down to the sunny, well-equipped kitchen and the bathroom. A real plus is the very pretty enclosed garden, terraced in some places with one or two steps (please take care with toddlers), an ideal spot to unwind, enjoy the sun, or perhaps an al fresco meal. A short drive from the bustling town of Penzance, the cottage is within easy reach of the numerous attractions of the west Penwith peninsula including lovely beaches, the St Ives Tate gallery and many other delights. Wireless broadband is available at this property.
