Found up in the lush farmland above Mount’s Bay, only a mile and a half from Marazion beach, is Angwinack Cottage. Approached by an unmade lane, with only two or three cottages for neighbours, this charming cottage is ideal for a relaxing and enjoyable family holiday. The sitting/dining-room is separated by the stairs to the pretty bedrooms above. With the original beamed ceiling, deep window seats, comfortable furnishings in soft pastel shades and a mellow stripped-pine dresser with matching dining-table, this is a delightful room. A step leads down to the sunny and well-equipped kitchen and the bathroom is also on the ground floor. A real plus point is the very pretty enclosed garden, terraced in some places with one or two steps up and down (please take care with toddlers). This is an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy the sun, or perhaps an al fresco meal. A short drive from the bustling town of Penzance, the cottage is within easy reach of the numerous attractions of the west Penwith peninsula which include some lovely beaches, the Tate Gallery in St Ives and many other delights.
