Delightfully homely, Lower Trenower is ideally located for exploring the beautiful Lizard peninsula with its breathtaking walks, glorious beaches and of course the famous sailing waters of the Helford River. A perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of modern day living, this old farmhouse is approached by a lane from the village of Newtown-in-St Martin and is still very much part of the working farm. A warm reception is ensured from the Owners, who retain a self-contained part of the farmhouse for themselves (Lower Trenower is the left side of the farmhouse in the photograph), and guests are welcome to see the various farm animals or watch the milking in the nearby outbuildings. An entrance hall leads into the comfortable open plan living-room, which has an open fire in the sitting-area, doors leading out to a private patio, and pine fitted units in the kitchen-area. The original staircase leads to three well-proportioned and prettily furnished bedrooms, the double with an en suite shower-room. Outside, the large enclosed lawned garden, with its trampoline and swings, will keep the children happy for hours.
