Newton Ferrers and Noss Mayo are waterside villages either side of a tidal creek. Go around the head of the river, up the steep hill past cottages nestling into the hillside, and you come into open countryside. The Round House is just under a mile from Noss Mayo, on the corner of a sympathetic conversion of Grade II Listed barns, in beautiful, landscaped and extensive grounds. The house is very light and spacious with a striking sitting/dining-room, with original exposed beams and stairs leading to a minstrels’ gallery up above. With a large, well-equipped kitchen and two bedrooms on the ground floor and the double bedroom upstairs, this is a very comfortable and welcoming house. The shared grounds are well tended and as well as a barbecue-area and a small games-room (table-tennis and darts) there is a tennis court (please bring your own equipment). Half a mile from the south Devon coastal path and close to some lovely South Hams beaches, The Round House has everything for a memorable holiday.
