Middle Weaver Farm is a superbly renovated detached Devon longhouse surrounded by its own extensive enclosed gardens, with an eight-seater hot tub for grown-ups, a games-room and outside play-area for children. The secluded rural setting is inland from the beautiful east Devon/Dorset Jurassic Coast. This historic thatched property is perfect for family holidays and special occasions. The ground floor is super flexible, with a stunning bespoke kitchen with an electric range-style cooker - and all-important wine chiller - and adjoining snug, a fabulous sitting-room with wood-burning stove and Smart TV, a second sitting-room with large screen for Xbox games and DVDs, and a double height oak framed dining/garden-room. Five luxurious bedrooms, three en suite, and a family bathroom, offer top quality.
Middle Weaver farmhouse has great appeal for grown-ups, not only with the hot tub with its views over the fields, but with a huge terrace with a gas barbecue, and a choice of stylish relaxed seating areas to make the most of the sunshine from sunrise to sunset. The house is that perfect balance of character and history with a contemporary makeover. There is fabulous space for children to play and the gardens are fully enclosed so this is a safe place to bring your four-legged friends too. There is a lovely pond which is likely to have ducks living on it - this area is properly fenced from the rest of the garden. If there are any rainy days the second sitting-room has a large wall-mounted TV screen for games and films and the open fronted games-room has table-tennis, table-football and darts. This property is exceptionally private but is easy to reach from either Honiton or Cullompton. Beyond Honiton you can head to the coast at Sidmouth and Lyme Regis. The Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is on your doorstep for walking off the beaten track. The bar is set very high at this special holiday property but it is a relaxing family choice too and you will feel that it is your very own country home during your stay.

The pond is fully fenced but please don't let children climb over it; there may be sheep and horses in the two small paddocks to the right of the drive so best not to let children go in there. The house is 16th Century and so there are some low beams and lintels and quite steep stairs; there are two steps from the kitchen to the dining/garden-room; take care there is a drop from the top lawn to the path around the dining/garden-room.
