The Stables has been converted to a very high standard.
The kitchen/dining-area is simply fab!

The majestic 17th Century manor of Trewan Hall takes centre stage on the estate.
Although open plan, the kitchen/dining-area sits separate to the sitting-area giving the best of both worlds.
You are sure to enjoy wonderful sociable gatherings in the kitchen/dining-area.
The wrap around windows make this room incredibly light and of course give easy access to the garden.
The spacious sitting-area has ample room for everyone to spread out and relax.
Although with under-floor heating throughout, you cannot beat snuggling up in front of the wood-burner on chillier evenings - and the generous owners provide this amount of wood for your stay!
Sensitively restored, the owners have retained some of the original features including the exposed beams and the 'crinkle crankle' wall.
Bedroom 1 with its king-size double bed has been decorated in beautiful soft, restful colours.
Bedroom 1 benefits from an en suite bathroom.
Bedroom 1 has a modern en suite with a bath and separate shower.
Bedroom 2, which overlooks the garden, can be made up as either a double bed or twin beds - just let us know.

The gardens and grounds around the estate are simply stunning.

Table-tennis - always a holiday favourite.

There may be a few more residents on site than we said!
The lane in front of The Stables leads off to one of the caravan and camping areas.
The north coast is littered with fabulous beaches, Mawgan Porth being one of the the best!
Pop over to the lovely town of Padstow - join a boat trip, amble around the harbour and shops, visit the historic Prideaux Place or grab a bite to eat from an abundance of great restaurants and pubs.

Set on the edge of the beautiful grounds of Trewan Hall, only a short distance from the breathtaking north Cornwall coast, this single-storey, semi-detached Grade II Listed barn conversion is simply stunning. With its lofty interior, high quality finish and stylish furnishings, this terrific holiday home will not disappoint.

The spacious comfy sitting-area, with its warming wood-burner, sits perfectly in the original building and the kitchen/dining area in the modern extension is a masterpiece. With the gorgeous muted tones of the kitchen cupboards, fashionable word art, the most tactile of dining-tables together with fabulous floor to ceiling windows, this room is sure to become the focal point of your holiday. Add to this, two immaculate bedrooms with super comfy mattresses, crisp linens and fluffy towels, each with their own en suite facilities and an enclosed private garden ideal for family socialising and meals al fresco, what more could you want from your holiday home?

For most of the year, you only share this rural haven with the adjacent The Coach House (3739) and the owners, who live elsewhere on the estate.

From mid-May to mid-September the estate opens its gates to touring caravans and campers. The estate has two areas for pitches, one closer to the cottages with vehicle access passing a short distance in front of the cottages and the other a distance away. Even with the campers, outside of the school holidays the site remains peaceful and tranquil and during the holidays the site comes alive with activity and family fun which should delight those members of your party keen to join in and make holiday friendships.

The original 17th Century Manor sits majestically within the 36 acres of stunning grounds, beautiful gardens and woodlands that are waiting to be explored with footpaths that will take you off further into the surrounding countryside. Why not challenge each other to a game of pool or table-tennis, or for some holiday reading you must make use of the library.

The swimming pool is open during the height of the season, please check with the owners for specific opening times, when there is also an entertainment programme on offer in the Theatre Barn. However, all these facilities are set well away from The Stables so if you don't want to get involved they won't disturb you.

Getting out and about, there's so much to see and do from this perfect base you are spoilt for choice. You're in Cornwall so days out on the coast are a shoo-in. The north coast has so many great beaches on offer, you could pick a different one every day, and with Watergate Bay and Mawgan Porth being only a 10 minute drive away, you don't have to travel far to find two of the best. Here you can enjoy exhilarating surf, golden sands and endless miles of stunning coastal footpaths - perfect for you and your four-legged friend, if you have one in tow.

Pop into the lively towns of Padstow and Wadebridge for independent shopping and great places to eat and drink, or hire a bicycle and cycle from one to the other along the renowned Camel Trail. The historic houses and gardens at the National Trust's Trerice and Lanhydrock will take you back to a Cornwall of a bygone age, and a trip to the world renowned Eden Project or Heligan Gardens is a must.
