These are the views you come to Cornwall for; fabulous, far reaching and expansive sea vistas with ever-changing colours of blue and green with magical skies to match.

Floor to ceiling sliding doors in the open plan living-room peel back fully to bring the ocean even closer and when you climb under the crisp cotton sheets to bed, the sound of the waves can be heard and enjoyed from both bedrooms as that fresh Cornish air sends you to sleep.

Take a walk down the lane to feel the sand under your toes, with a sunny welcome for visitors at one of the beaches and the cafe for those with four legs as well as two. This gorgeous apartment has been thoughtfully designed with comfort in mind such as luxurious bedding on top of quality beds, a Nespresso machine for those morning coffees and many of those little extras you expect to find in a boutique hotel; a stay at 4 The Beach feels very special indeed.

Kennack Sands, near the village of Kuggar, is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty located on the Lizard peninsula, well-known amongst the surfing fraternity as it regularly throws up four to five foot waves. It also has its fair share of shipwreck stories and remains of wrecks that can be seen from the beach on especially low tides.

The beach to the east is a designated nature reserve which can be reached via the footpath that runs along the back of the beach, so for walkers there is much to explore. Next to 4 The Beach is the Potters Bar, not your traditional Cornish watering hole, but the welcome is warm and the beer is cold.

Nearby Ruan Minor (just over a mile away) has a well-stocked village shop offering hot drinks and all sorts to takeaway, as well as the Treleague dairy farm shop where you can buy their locally-sourced produce including clotted cream, eggs and of course their fresh milk served in proper glass bottles.

For dinner why not cook some of this wonderful local produce at home, or pop down to the Cadgwith Cove Inn less than two miles away for a traditional pub night out. The apartment has board games which will provide fun for all the family and in the grounds you will find a lawn and patio area shared with the other apartments.
