St Ewe is a pretty village, consisting of an excellent local inn and a few traditional houses surrounding a beautiful old church, part of which dates back to the 16th Century. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are half a mile away, with a fantastic farm shop on site, and the Eden Project is just nine miles away. The location is ideal for exploring the bustling fishing villages and excellent south coast beaches by day, with a peaceful rural haven to return to in the evening. The Barn, on the outskirts of the village, is a delightful conversion of old farm buildings where tubs of flowers fill the courtyard with colour in summer. The Owner, Mrs Reid, lives in the main house – she is one of our most caring Owners and will make you very welcome.

Ash Cottage is on your left as you enter the courtyard. A small porch leads to the kitchen-area, which is separated from the living-room by fitted units. Ash furniture, much of it antique, has been carefully chosen to mix with a blend of natural woods. Comfortable chintz armchairs enhance the country atmosphere and pictures by local artists adorn the walls. A door leads to a private patio which looks out towards the village and to the peaceful surrounding countryside beyond.

Open plan living-room with kitchen and dining areas. TV/DVD player and log-effect electric fire. Electric cooker, microwave and fridge. Bedroom with double bed. Bathroom with bath, fitted shower, WC and wash-basin.
