Beer Cottage is a welcoming semi-detached cottage set within 16 acres of grounds, boasting the most beautiful and tranquil countryside you could imagine and the perfect dog-friendly bolthole to unwind and relax in after a day exploring the fabulous surroundings. Not only are you surrounded by endless rolling countryside, but the most picturesque lake and an array of livestock. The grounds offer a private path which link directly onto the Tarka Trail. Beer Cottage has a bright and welcoming interior, which opens out onto a small, private patio looking out over to the spectacular, shared back garden. With lockable gates at each end of the patio you can be sure that your dogs or small children are safe. The open plan living, dining and kitchen areas provide the perfect space for enjoying well-deserved quality time together. Should you fancy exploring further afield, the friendly Owners live across the courtyard and are on hand to help.
With the added feature of the wood-burner effect gas stove, Beer Cottage makes for the perfect all year round retreat (with no mess!). Beer Cottage is a stone's throw from the charming villages of Petrockstowe and Merton, each with a traditional country pub, ideal for a drink and a bite to eat after a busy day. If a day by the sea appeals, north Devon's stunning coast is ideal for a day at the beach and is within easy access, as are both Dartmoor and Exmoor. If you fancy something more adventurous, you can make arrangements directly with the Owner for a day out on his beautiful 46 foot yacht which is based in Plymouth. Beer Cottage is a very inviting cottage and offers you something quite special and unspoilt. You are certain to enjoy every second of your time in this perfect and tranquil environment, leaving you totally revitalised and refreshed.
