Cosy up in this pretty little terraced miner's cottage, set in the heart of one of Cornwall's ancient mining heritage sites and with views of the crashing Atlantic Ocean from downstairs.

The ground floor has a modern shower-room, a well-equipped kitchen, solid limed-oak floors and a roaring wood-burner. Up the steep cottage stairs are two comfortable bedrooms, one a king-size double and the other a single with room for a cot.

The front of the cottage has a spacious gravelled terrace and, to the rear, there is a tiny patio which overlooks the village play-area. Honeysuckle Cottage has everything needed to make the perfect retreat for a couple or young family.

Visit the charming town of St Just, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as it is not far away with its wonderful blend of craft shops, a butcher, local bakers, pubs and a small supermarket for all your holiday needs. There are a couple of delicious cafes too and the Dog and Rabbit (located just behind the Post Office) serves a fabulous breakfast with log fires and squishy sofas, and is dog-friendly too!

Surrounding the town are some amazing coastal walks, so do bring a stout pair of walking boots and if you fancy a day on the beach, learning to surf or simply to just build sandcastles and eat ice creams then you are truly spoilt for choice in west Cornwall. Sennen has a fabulous surfing beach and Porthcurno is a stunning cove where you can also take in a trip to the world famous Minack Theatre and take in an open-air show. Further afield you will find Marazion with its sandy beach overlooking famous St Michael's Mount. Whilst there why not treat yourself to a cream tea on the terrace at the popular Godolphin Arms.
