This little semi-detached cottage gem is surrounded by the Owners' fields where you will see their beautiful horses peacefully grazing in the sunshine and right on your doorstep you have access to many miles of paths to explore by foot or bicycle on the Penrose Estate. Follow the purpose made tracks down to the lake at Loe Bar, the largest natural fresh water lake in Cornwall, or into the surrounding woodlands with wonderful views in every direction. Also close by is Coronation Park, complete with boating lake, bike hire and a cafe, and it's only a short walk from here up into Helston where you will find the banks, shops, pubs and cafes with larger supermarkets just outside of the town centre. With the Lizard peninsula, Helford River, Trebah and Glendurgan Gardens and so much to see in this unspoilt and beautiful area of Cornwall, little Martlett Barn is the perfect base for your holiday.

The beach at Porthleven, great for walking on and relaxing but swimming is not advised due to the dangerous currents.
