Dolor Cottage, reputedly one of the oldest cottages in the picturesque seaside village of Coverack, has been beautifully and sensitively updated to the highest standard while retaining much of its original character and charm. Named after the headland just beyond the friendly harbourside village pub only a few yards away, this semi-detached cottage is light, spacious and exceedingly well-equipped. Slate floors run from the family kitchen/dining-room – which has a stable-door to the parking-area outside – through to the comfortable sitting-room, where leather sofas flank the huge granite inglenook and its welcoming wood-burner. A narrow hallway leads to the ground floor shower and utility-room, perfect after trips to the beach – or for drying off a wet dog!
