The Old Rectory is a spacious Regency house, in three acres of grounds, within the Dartmoor National Park and on the edge of the village of Mary Tavy. With a beech walk, paddock, wildlife pond and small stream (please take care with toddlers), this is truly gracious living. There is also a wonderful children’s play-area in the garden. The drawing-room, with a wood-burner and French doors out to the terrace, is very elegant and the dining-room begs to host a candlelit dinner. The sitting-room has a wood-burner and the breakfast-room extends into the kitchen, with the snug beyond. Upstairs are six bedrooms (there is a child’s bed suitable for an additional child up to six years in bedroom two) and three bathrooms (one with a raised bath), and there is a second narrow staircase from the boot-room.
