This medieval house within Exmoor National Park is at the heart of historic Dunster, one of the most picturesque villages in England – explore the cobbled streets, Yarn Market, National Trust castle, watermill and priory gardens. Torre Cottage is deceptively spacious, offering a large family kitchen/dining-room adjoining a comfortable snug, and a second sitting-room with a characterful open fireplace makes this a great base all year round. There are four bedrooms; three double rooms – one en suite – are on the first floor with the family bathroom, and the twin is on the second floor. The sunny terraced garden backs onto the castle grounds, giving wonderful views across rooftops to the countryside beyond. There is a little pond beneath the rose arches, a small enclosed lawn and some steep steps (take care with children). Parking is outside the house or in the public car park approximately four minutes walk away. Enjoy a fantastic variety of walks, West Somerset Railway and the sandy beaches nearby, the shops and restaurants on the doorstep, and a playground just down the road.
