The beautifully appointed kitchen/dining-room has doors to the split-level, south-facing waterfront terrace, the perfect place for meals and evening drinks. The master en suite bedroom on the lower ground floor has doors directly onto the terrace, and the two bedrooms and family bathroom on the first floor share the wonderful water views. Located in the creekside hamlet of Point, this is bird-watching paradise with birdsong in the mornings, a large colony of swans who nest along the river bank and a myriad of wading birds such as curlew, sandpiper and godwits who patrol the mudflats as the tide recedes. Dinghies and kayaks can be launched from the property at high tide (steps lead down to the foreshore) or from Point Quay just along the lane. There is easy access to the nearby sailing town of Falmouth, the King Harry Ferry that crosses to the Roseland peninsula and the pretty Cathedral City of Truro. Please note the waterside location and numerous steps make this property unsuitable for children under five years old. The lower price band applies from 23 July to 2 September.
