Beacon Top Bottom is a delightful cottage ideally suited to guests who wish to leave the cooking and washing chores at home! Styled with eclectic fabrics and furnishings, this cosy little bolthole, overlooking the Owners’ organic smallholding, nestles on the slopes of St Agnes Beacon, a local landmark proffering 360 degree views from St Ives to Trevose Head near Padstow. Steep granite steps (unsuitable for less mobile guests) lead directly off the coastal footpath up to the open plan living-room, warmed by the wood-burner and under-floor heating throughout, the simple kitchen (the cooking facilities comprise a hob and combination microwave) and views across fields and open countryside. Stairs lead down to the bedroom, shower-room and sunny sheltered patio-area. Locally, walks, pubs and beaches can be enjoyed – cliffside strolls are a must at nearby Chapel Porth and Trevaunance Cove. Further afield, St Ives, Falmouth, Truro and the Eden Project are all an easy drive.
