Picture 1 of 4. Chindit Cottage is the pale blue cottage third in from the left. You cannot park outside the house but there is a layby on the road below where you can pull onto the pavement to unload. |

Dartmouth is well-known for its lovely riverside setting and the Britannia Royal Naval College. The river is full of craft of all shapes and sizes and the town itself has plenty to offer; good restaurants, pubs, galleries and interesting shops. Found in a terrace of houses on the town’s edge, Chindit Cottage (named in tribute to the previous Owner, who served with the Chindits in Burma in World War II) is lovely. The sitting/dining-room is very comfortable, there is a spacious well-equipped kitchen and two pretty bedrooms. A seat outside the front door provides a perfect spot to enjoy the view and to the rear is a terraced patio garden on two levels (take care with children on the steps). Although parking is in the nearby car park, it is worth the slightly tricky unloading and once parked you can walk into town. *A cot is not provided, please bring your own travel cot.
