Silverton Park Farmyard offers three high quality cottages at the heart of this family-run working farm in unspoilt east Devon. The National Trust manages land nearby on the Killerton Estate, and Silverton Park Farm echoes the practice of conservation and wildlife management, with six acres of farmland and traditional Devon orchard, organic meadow and wildlife pond that guests can explore (please take care with children around the unfenced pond). There is a shared parking-area and each cottage has an attractive south-facing patio looking over the courtyard gardens. The properties boast bright open plan living-rooms, with under-floor heating, and beautifully finished and characterful oak beams, staircases and doors. The clever layout allows guests to watch the day-to-day activities of the farm from their kitchen windows on one side, with the front doors and living areas opening out onto the courtyard on the other. As well as providing a friendly setting for individual bookings, two, or all three, cottages can link together through ‘secret’ doors to create a larger spacious property for extended family groups.

The Dairy nestles in the middle of the terrace and is ideal for a couple. It has a downstairs cloakroom as well as a first floor bathroom with a fitted shower, and a comfortable king-size bed. Please note that the changeover times are 4pm on arrival and 10am on departure.
