Duck under the lintel on entering this beautiful single-storey detached former barn, and prepare to gasp in delight! In the pretty kitchen, above the dining-table, is a window with wonderful sea views beyond Anskyber’s large enclosed garden; walk into the spacious, tastefully furnished sitting-area, and gasp again – at the sun-room’s spectacular views to Lizard Point, where an indulgent complimentary cream tea awaits you at the Owners’ cafe, just a walk away along a country track. But best of all is the magnificent master bedroom, with its breathtaking views from the gorgeous king-size bed, its stylish oak furniture, large comfortable sofa and contemporary en suite shower-room (also accessed from the small bunk bedroom). Within a short walk of Tara (2327), set in the quiet outskirts of Lizard village on the seaward side of a large open courtyard shared with the Owners next door and another family property, delightful Anskyber is otherwise quite private. An energetic clifftop walk to Cadgwith or Kynance Cove would be exhilarating – but relaxing in the sheltered garden, from sunrise to sunset, also sounds pretty good!
