Down a private lane in the hamlet of Boduel you will find this detached, family-friendly farmhouse overlooking two acres of gently sloping lawn and wildlife meadow, with mowed pathways, apple trees, stream and pond (take care with children in these areas), set in a lightly wooded valley. A wigwam, treehouse and bonfire pit give ample opportunity for outdoor fun. Recently enlarged and updated, South Boduel Cottage provides an eclectic mix of contemporary kitchen and bathrooms with much loved vintage furniture which will appeal to those who love character and comfort. The slate-flagged ground floor houses the large sitting-room with sofas, a wood-burner, broadband access and Nintendo Wii, and the kitchen/dining-room with its warming oil-fired Aga (supplemented by a combination microwave) and French doors to the garden. Upstairs, three beautifully furnished double bedrooms and a children’s bunk-room, share an en suite shower-room and a family bathroom. This delightful cottage is a short drive from the fishing port of Looe, where narrow streets, old pubs and shops, beaches and shark fishing trips are found. The sailing town of Fowey, beaches at Talland Bay and Whitsand Bay, and the Eden Project are also easily reached by car. This property has a private water supply, regularly tested.
