This cosy little quarryman’s cottage, set on the Isle of Portland, is the ideal place to escape. Walks aplenty and the sea view in the distance as you step out of the front door will remind you how close you are to the elements. After a day exploring the rugged coastal paths and coves, you can return to this traditional terraced cottage (to the left of the photograph) to relax by the wood-burner. The ground floor of The Well-Beloved has a sitting/dining-room, a bathroom with an original roll-top bath and three steps up to an eclectic kitchen which leads to the enclosed garden. Steep wooden stairs lead to the first floor bedroom and further steep stairs to the spacious second floor snug. *A cot is not provided, please bring your own travel cot.
