Built in 1810 this exceptional, Grade II Listed Georgian house retains a multitude of original features and offers all the space and modern facilities large groups could require. Set in the heart of Millbrook village on the beautiful Rame peninsula, dramatic coastlines, pretty fishing villages and fabulous sandy beaches are all nearby. The house and enclosed grounds are sheltered by mature specimen trees. The huge lawn is perfect for children’s games, and badminton and croquet sets are provided. A sheltered, sun-trap courtyard at the rear of the house has a large outdoor dining-table, a gas-fired barbecue and a superb hot tub. Inside the house, tall windows light the high-ceilinged, beautifully appointed rooms. The drawing-room has sofas and armchairs piled with soft cushions, a lovely marble open fireplace and views out over the lawn. The dining-room seats everyone without difficulty and is perfect for that celebration meal, easily prepared in the fully equipped, well planned kitchen. A small study with WiFi access, printer, TV and DVD player provides a quiet retreat. The welcoming Owners, who live in the grounds, are past-masters in helping to plan your perfect holiday. Whatever you want – within reason – they can provide. They can arrange for caterers to come in and cook formal meals to your specification, cream teas, seafood platters, buffet meals, barbecues and picnics, together with a host of outdoor activities including golf, fishing, kayaking, surfing, horse riding and cycling. For the less energetic, holistic beauty treatments may hit the spot, while the basement games-room provides hours of fun with snooker, table-tennis, table-skittles and darts. Please note that the changeover times are 4pm on arrival and 10am on departure.
