The Orchard, a traditional style wood-clad barn, has been very stylishly converted to create a unique retreat. In a tranquil rural setting with Bath, Shaftesbury, Sherborne and Salisbury nearby in one direction and the beaches of Studland, Poole and Weymouth along the coastline in the other, this is an excellent base for exploring. A flight of external wooden steps leads from the namesake orchard to a private decked terrace with far reaching views over farmland and stunning sunsets. The light and contemporary interior is open plan with the sleeping-area and separate shower-room at the far end of the living space, hidden away beyond the kitchen partition. The property has a hob and combination microwave for cooking but you could treat yourself to a cooked breakfast at the local farm shop before setting off to explore this beautiful county. *A cot is not provided, please bring your own travel cot.
