At the heart of Porthleven, only a few minutes’ stroll from the picturesque harbour and its eclectic mix of quayside pubs, restaurants and small shops, pretty semi-detached Bluebell Cottage has a large, enclosed terraced back garden which captures the sun for most of the day. The little courtyard immediately outside the kitchen door is perfect for morning coffee, there is a lawn on the next level (please take care on the steps), and at the top is a sunny patio with gated access to the rear parking-area and views across the neighbouring rooftops towards the hillside fields surrounding the village. Inside, the attractive kitchen is very well-equipped, and there are lots of delightful decorative touches throughout the cottage’s restful, relaxing interior. The comfortable slate-floored sitting/dining-room has a warming wood-burner in the stone fireplace, a traditional beamed ceiling, and a typically narrow staircase leading up to the bathroom and two attractively furnished bedrooms. There is also a separate cloakroom downstairs.
