Description

The tiny hamlet of Nantellan is found in stunningly beautiful and tranquil countryside, yet only a couple of miles from good roads offering easy access to other parts of the county. Set within the Owners’ grounds and with Nantellan Roundhouse (1380) nearby, Nantellan Lodge is a detached, stone-built cottage which has been converted with care and attention to comfort. In its own private, fully enclosed garden with a small sun-trap lawn outside the light and airy kitchen/dining-room, the spacious cottage has a cosy sitting-room with a wood-burner and an additional playroom for children on the ground floor, together with the benefit of a spacious shower-room. Upstairs, the large master bedroom overlooks fields and woodland, while two further good-sized bedrooms and the family bathroom complete the accommodation. Beautifully furnished with an elegant mix of new furniture and old family pieces, with carefully chosen fabrics and lamps, this delightful cottage feels like a welcoming home. With the fishing port of Mevagissey, the wonderful working harbour at Charlestown with its tall ships moored in the harbour, the Eden Project and Heligan Gardens, sandy beaches and woodland cycle routes all within a 20 minute drive, and the north coast also reached easily, you could not be better placed for enjoying a relaxing and fulfilling holiday.
