Description

Spectacular, panoramic sea views across to Kynance Cove, Gwennap Head and distant Lamorna and Porthcurno, will surely take your breath away as you approach Frog Rock Cottage. Named after one of the rocky islands it overlooks, this relaxing retreat adjoins the Owners’ lovely Victorian house, originally built as a hotel for holiday-makers visiting Britain’s most southerly point. Peaceful, private, surrounded by National Trust fields yet just a short walk from the village centre, this is the perfect destination for a truly restful break. There are fantastic views at every turn – even from the gorgeously romantic four-poster bed, and from inside the en suite’s double shower cubicle! Off the main bedroom and offering flexible sleeping arrangements for two guests, the single room overlooks the magnificent raised koi pond in the sheltered rear courtyard, ideal for leisurely al fresco breakfasts. Downstairs the sitting-room has a cosy wood-burner, patio doors leading outside to the deck and large west-facing garden where, after exhilarating walks along the staggeringly beautiful coastal footpaths, you can relax and indulge yourself in the mesmerising vista before you.
