Description

One of the oldest dwellings in the unspoilt fishing village of Coverack (see photograph), this delightful little end of terrace thatched cottage is worthy of any chocolate box. Low beams and uneven painted walls inside add to its charm and character, and almost every room enjoys glorious sea views. The pretty front garden is perfect for sitting and watching the world go by, the beach and picturesque harbour just a short stroll away. Steep stone steps (please take care) lead to the raised back garden, where there is a children’s playroom and a shower-room in the summer-house. Inside the cottage the oak-floored living-room is tastefully furnished with a comfy corner sofa, background heat from the Rayburn keeping everywhere warm and cosy all year round. Corner Cottage is an ideal base for exploring the Lizard peninsula’s many attractions, including the spectacular coastal footpath nearby – but you may find yourself just sitting back and relaxing throughout your stay, allowing those inner batteries time to completely recharge!
