Elegant Haddonwell has a very large garden where there is plenty of space for children to play.

Description

This elegant detached stone house has reversed accommodation, the first floor sitting-room with glorious far reaching views across the rolling Cornish countryside. Situated in the village of Mawgan just a short drive from the Helford River or the sandy beach at Church Cove, Haddonwell stands within a huge enclosed garden which includes a little covered well (please take care with children). Only a few yards from the excellent village shop and within walking distance of the pub, Haddonwell is ideally located for those seeking a comfortable base for exploring this lovely part of the county. Downstairs are three good-sized bedrooms, one en suite, and a gorgeous family bathroom complete with slipper bath. The sitting-room upstairs has a cosy open fire, big squashy sofas and an electric keyboard, perfect for those musicians amongst you. French doors open onto a small sun-room overlooking the garden, a steep flight of steps (please take care) leading down to the patio below. The well-equipped kitchen/dining-room features a bright red oil-fired Aga, which is switched off from 1 June to 30 September unless otherwise requested.
