Description

This idyllic detached country cottage is set within a large garden in the heart of the beautiful Cot Valley. From inside and outside the cottage, the only sounds are the birds and a nearby running stream (please take care with children). A short stroll down the country lane will take you to Porth Nanven Cove with its amazing rock formations and the most breathtaking coastal paths you can walk. A short distance from Cuckoo’s Cottage lies St Just with excellent pubs, shops and eclectic galleries. The kitchen and large dining-room are warmed by a Rayburn, flanked by two comfortable armchairs and a farmhouse table by the window; here you can enjoy the view across the garden, whatever the weather. The huge sitting-room boasts a wood-burner and a long, rounded window seat set by the enormous south-facing window, which lets the sunlight flood in. From the sitting-room, stairs lead up to the three bedrooms (one of which has pull-out twin beds) and the family bathroom. Just a short drive away is wonderful Sennen Cove with its galleries and restaurants and, further on, Porthcurno with its turquoise seas, white sand and the renowned Minack Theatre.
