Description

Set just half a mile from the National Trust’s Shute Barton manor house, Bettys Ground is an ideal retreat from which to explore the many attractions this area of Devon and nearby Dorset have to offer. The World Heritage Site Jurassic Coast is nearby, and Lyme Regis and the historic fishing village of Beer are a short drive away, offering excellent pubs, restaurants, galleries and beaches. Attached to the Owners’ home, Bettys Ground is a tranquil and comfortable cottage with views across open countryside and the Axe valley. The stylish open plan living-room has a step down to the well-equipped kitchen and dining area. French windows open out to a pleasant terrace where you can enjoy the evening with a barbecue and a glass of wine after a day on the beach. Also on the ground floor are a spacious en suite double bedroom and a separate shower-room. Stairs lead up to a landing and two smaller bedrooms, one double and one twin, both with lovely views over the surrounding hills. *A cot is not provided, please bring your own travel cot.
