Beautifully furnished with an eye to the Owner’s Scandinavian heritage, this delightful single-storey cottage is set well back from the road, in an acre of gardens, surrounded by farmland. The terraced garden is ideal for barbecues and, for aircraft enthusiasts, observing the occasional fly-past from the Royal Naval Air Station not far away. Cosy and welcoming, Little Roskymer is linked to the Owner’s home by a shared entrance hall but is otherwise entirely self-contained. The beech fitted kitchen leads to the spacious oak-floored sitting/dining-room with its leather sofa and recliner, striking Danish oak furniture and long-case clock, and French doors to the garden – where you may meet the Owner’s friendly dogs. The bedroom, with versatile ‘zip and link’ beds, continues the Scandinavian theme with two single duvets, although a double duvet is available if preferred!
