St Gennys’ Cottages, formerly the Victorian school house and cottages, nestle beneath the ancient church of the same name. These gorgeous cottages shelter on the cliffside with views up towards Bude and over to Lundy Island, each with their own enclosed garden. For walkers, undulating cliff paths lead through unspoilt countryside and valleys in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, defined as part of the Heritage Coast and protected by the National Trust. The cliffs and beach of Crackington Haven are close by offering excellent cafes, pubs and quaint shops to tantalise your tastebuds. Surfers can enjoy the surf at many of the north coast beaches, whilst nearby are the bustling town of Bude and the sandy shores of Widemouth Bay.

Lanes’ is the smallest of the cottages and would be ideal for couples wishing to relax. With a well-equipped kitchen/breakfast-room, comfortable sitting-room and an open fire, there is plenty of space to stretch out. Large windows let in the sunshine and the two bedrooms are prettily furnished. The garden offers al fresco dining and a game or two whilst enjoying fresh air and the sounds of the sea.
