On a hill above the fishing port of Looe and overlooking the East Looe River, Overwater is a modern, detached house furnished and appointed to a very high standard. Accessed down steps from the parking-area, the reversed accommodation is entered on the first floor, where pale oak flooring runs throughout. The spacious kitchen/dining-room has doors out to a decked balcony, perfect for sitting and admiring the view, whilst the comfortable sitting-room has leather sofas, tasteful soft furnishings and a pebble-effect electric fire. Downstairs, the double bedroom has an en suite bathroom with the two twin rooms sharing the family bathroom, and all three have French doors out to the south-facing patio and large, enclosed garden. A footpath nearby leads to the cliffs less than half a mile away, where the coastal footpath offers spectacular views towards the Rame peninsula and St George’s Island. Looe itself has narrow streets, old smugglers’ pubs, fishing trips and seaside treats, and the surrounding area has beautiful wooded valleys, with the fishing village of Polperro, the sailing town of Fowey and the seaside villages of Kingsand and Cawsand all within a few miles.
